“In the afternoon of October 8, Russian troops launched treacherous strikes on the residential sector of Sumy . In particular, a fire broke out on the territory of a private household, and two residential buildings were damaged,” the report said.

As noted, State Emergency Service specialists extinguished all sources of combustion.

However, according to rescue workers, less than an hour later, a Russian drone struck an apartment building.

Rescuers surveyed the area and provided necessary assistance to citizens.

“Due to the threat of repeated strikes, the State Emergency Service units were forced to temporarily suspend work and take shelter. Fortunately, there were no casualties in either incident,” the State Emergency Service said.
