Profile Articles Activity

I am a young woman scientist working in the field of energy in buildings and trying to play my role for climate action through energy transition. My day-to-day job supports climate action. I am exploring the complex dynamic of energy in buildings and thermal comfort. In simple words, I am trying to answer,“Is your home comfortable and healthy indoor living space?” and“Are you compromising your thermal comfort over energy cost?” This work is part of HeatCheck project led by Dr Paul Moran and Prof Jamie Goggins at the University of Galway and funded by MaREI (Science Foundation Ireland's Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine research and innovation).

I am a (climate) science communicator, find all my published articles and videos above in the Linktree I engage and teach to people of all ages and backgrounds. Through my research and climate action, I am also curious to navigate climate science's nexus with art, music, religion, faith, and unconventional ways to learning and teaching.

Coming from Pakistan, climate/energy finance matters to me a lot, and I am a Certified Expert in Financing Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and Energy Performance Contracting. Further, I am seeking training to become a certifies domestic BER assessor and passive house designer.
