(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 8 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received the visiting President of UAE Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and his accompanying delegation.
During the reception, both sides touched on the bilateral ties between the two countries and emphasizing the importance of consolidating the frameworks of bilateral cooperation between in a way that serves their mutual interests, especially in the economic and development fields.
His Highness the Amir and Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed affirmed support to all initiatives and efforts aimed at establishing the foundations of comprehensive and just peace based on the two-state solution and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to achieve security and stability in the region.
His Highness and Sheikh Mohammad stressed the need for continued international efforts to recognize the Palestinian state to achieve all the aspirations and hopes of the brotherly Palestinian people.
