Russia Strikes Energy Infrastructure Overnight, Damages Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo Facilities
“As a result of the combined strike, equipment belonging to JSC Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo was damaged, leading to power outages for a significant number of consumers in the regional center and Zaporizhzhia district,” the Ministry said.
The situation remains difficult in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
“The enemy has once again attacked the Chernihiv region. Scheduled hourly power outages remain in effect. Power engineers are working to reduce the restrictions,” the Ministry of Energy emphasized.
Emergency repair and restoration efforts are currently underway to restore the electricity supply as soon as possible.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that last night, Russia launched more than 50 missiles and around 500 attack drones against Ukraine. Five people were killed, and ten more are known to have been injured.
