Territorial Defence Forces Have Potential To Implement Latest Technologies - Commander Plakhuta

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Ihor Plakhuta, stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.

“It is the Territorial Defense Forces that have the greatest potential to become a testing ground for implementing the latest technologies. The flexibility of the structure, close interaction with communities, and active involvement of volunteers and the IT sector create an environment for the rapid introduction of innovations from UAVs and electronic warfare systems to digital management platforms,” Plakhuta said.

He stressed that the future of defense depends on the development of robotic complexes, strike and intercept UAVs, ground and air reconnaissance systems, as well as automated control and data exchange systems.

“This makes the Territorial Defense Forces a driver of technological innovation in the Armed Forces,” the commander emphasized.

As reported, Ukraine, together with key partners, is preparing a decision on joint arms production , in particular, with localization in Ukraine.
