Maritime Navigation Suspended In Qatar Due To GPS Fault: Transport Ministry
Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Transport has announced the temporary suspension of all maritime navigation activities in the country due to a technical fault in the GPS system.
The Ministry explained in a circular shared on social media that the fault could impact the accuracy of navigation devices and compromise the safety of sailing. The directive takes immediate effect and will remain in force until the issue is fully resolved.
