
Gandhi Jayanti: LG Urges People To Embrace Non-Violence

Srinagar- On the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid heartfelt tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 156th birth anniversary and extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In his message, the LG emphasized Gandhi's ideals of peace, non-violence, truth, tolerance, compassion, and selfless service, urging citizens to internalize these values and contribute towards building a“Viksit Bharat.”
“Bapu dedicated his life for freedom of our country, social equity and development of our villages. His concept of Swadeshi was focused on making India Aatm-Nirbhar and boost local production. I appeal to all the people to buy Swadeshi Products and strengthen local artisans and cottage industries,” LG said.
