Over 30% Of Russia's Oil And Gas Infrastructure Put Out Of Service MP Venislavskyi

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) He said this at a briefing on Wednesday, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, Ukraine's domestically produced long‐range systems are inflicting significant losses on Russia.

"According to the latest information, more than 30% of the enemy's oil and gas processing capacity has been lost," Venislavskyi said.

He stressed that this kind of tactic could compel Russia to end the war. In addition, the long‐range weapons the United States has pledged to provide would further push Russia toward negotiating a just peace, the MP added.

"I would recommend waiting for those long‐range U.S.-made systems that will allow us to strike enemy targets at 1,000-2,000 kilometers. Preliminary agreements were reached during meetings between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States," the lawmaker said.

He stressed that U.S. President Donald Trump has realized that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is an unreliable negotiating partner.

"The only thing that can make him change his stance on the war is strikes with precision, long‐range weapons against legitimate military targets," Venislavskyi said.

The MP said that Ukraine's acquisition of such weapons would significantly alter the balance of power and force the Russian leadership to begin negotiations to end the war on fair terms.
