Gaza Genocide: Israeli Strikes Kill Nearly Forty More Civilians

(MENAFN) The Israeli military killed at least 37 civilians and wounded many others in multiple attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, medical sources confirmed.

According to medics cited by media, an Israeli bombardment north of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in northern Gaza City claimed the life of one Palestinian.

An airstrike targeting civilians near Palestine Stadium in the Ramla neighborhood of Gaza City resulted in the deaths of three Palestinians.

Five additional fatalities occurred in a series of air raids scattered throughout the city.

Casualties also emerged after an Israeli attack on a civilian gathering in Gaza City’s Al-Nasr neighborhood, though the exact death toll remains unknown as bodies have yet to be recovered from the rubble.

Medical personnel reported that a home in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza, was struck by the Israeli army, killing nine people, including women and children, and injuring many more.

In a separate strike targeting a residence in the western section of Nuseirat camp, three more Palestinians were killed.

Further north, in al-Mughraqa town, Israeli fire killed a Palestinian man while he was gathering firewood.

In the Bureij refugee camp, one civilian was killed and several others wounded by Israeli army gunfire.

Another Palestinian seeking humanitarian aid at a U.S. distribution point near the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza was also killed by Israeli fire.

Multiple strikes across central Gaza claimed nine additional Palestinian lives.

In southern Gaza, two civilians seeking aid were killed in Rafah and Khan Younis, with two more Palestinians killed by Israeli fire elsewhere in the region, medical sources confirmed.

Witnesses described how the Israeli army continued demolishing residential buildings in Gaza City’s Al-Sabra neighborhood by detonating booby-trapped vehicles.

Since October 2023, the Israeli military has killed over 66,000 Palestinians in Gaza, with most victims being women and children. Months of relentless air and ground assaults have rendered Gaza nearly unlivable and pushed its population to the brink of famine.
