Zelensky Signs Law Introducing Special Rules For Defense City Residents

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) As reported by Ukrinform, citing the law's summary on the parliament's website , the legislation simplifies customs procedures for defense industry enterprises, the Armed Forces, and other security agencies during the import, temporary entry, or processing of defense-related goods.

The law is expected to accelerate the delivery of weapons, equipment, and components, reduce bureaucratic delays, and boost production.

Additionally, the law introduces special regulations for residents of the Defense City industrial park.

As Ukrinform previously reported, the Verkhovna Rada passed draft laws supporting the defense-industrial sector, including the establishment of Defense City, a special tax and regulatory regime in Ukraine.
