Erdogan Meets with Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem


(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday welcomed Theophilos Giannopoulos, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, along with his accompanying entourage.

The gathering took place at the Presidential Dolmabahce Office, with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, and the president’s Senior Advisor Akif Cagatay Kilic also in attendance.

At the conclusion of the encounter, Erdogan and Patriarch Giannopoulos presented gifts to one another.
