Amir Receives Phone Call From UN Secretary-General
Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call today from Secretary-General of the United Nations HE Antonio Guterres.
During the call, HE the UN Secretary-General affirmed his solidarity with the State of Qatar and his deep concern over the Israeli attack on the city of Doha, saying it was a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms and a serious threat to the security of the State of Qatar and the countries of the region.
The Secretary-General stressed that everyone must work to achieve a permanent ceasefire, rather than destroying the paths leading to it.

For his part, HH the Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and territorial integrity, adding that this treacherous attack had complete disregard for the lives of innocent people and a serious violation that undermines security and stability in the region and the world.
During the call, His Highness also expressed his thanks to the UN Secretary-General for his sincere feelings and appreciated solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people.
