Amir Receives Phone Call From Sultan Of Oman

Doha, Qatar: The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call today from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman.

During the call, His Majesty the Sultan affirmed Oman's solidarity with the State of Qatar and its strong condemnation of the blatant Israeli attack that targeted the residential headquarters of several Hamas leaders. He stressed that it was a criminal act and a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms, and a threat to the security of the State of Qatar and the countries of the region.

His Majesty the Sultan of Oman also stressed his country's absolute rejection of any aggression that threatens the security and safety of the State of Qatar and undermines the security and stability of the region, affirming that the Sultanate of Oman stands with the State of Qatar in the measures it takes to protect its security and preserve its sovereignty.

For his part, His Highness the Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and preserve its sovereignty in the face of the blatant Israeli attack. His Highness expressed his thanks to His Majesty the Sultan for his sincere fraternal feelings and Oman's appreciated solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people.
