Blast Claims at Least 8 Lives in Western Afghanistan


(MENAFN) At least eight members of a single family were killed in a powerful explosion at a residence in western Afghanistan on Monday, media reported. The blast occurred in the Balablok district of Farah province, a volatile region that has seen increasing violence in recent months.

Provincial government spokesperson Abdul Malik Osama confirmed Tuesday that the blast claimed the lives of a couple and their six children, underscoring the tragic impact on a single household.
