In Photos: Flood Chaos Unleashed Again In J & K

(MENAFN- Kashmir Observer) Nature's fury has once again struck Jammu and Kashmir, with incessant rainfall over the past three days swelling rivers, submerging homes, and triggering widespread chaos across the Union Territory.

The floods have already claimed two lives in Rajouri while thousands have been evacuated to safety from submerged areas in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions.

As rains intensified, water levels surged dangerously in major rivers and tributaries.

Officials monitoring the situation said that the Jhelum is maintaining an upward trend at several vital points, raising concern among people in low-lying areas.

In Srinagar, Khushipora Telbal was among the worst-hit localities, with sudden inundation forcing residents to rush belongings to higher floors.
