Qatar Participates In Meeting Of Arab Association For Prosecutors In Oman
Muscat: The State of Qatar participated in the fifth meeting of the Arab Association for Prosecutors for 2025, which was held in the city of Salalah, the Sultanate of Oman.
Attorney General HE Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi chaired the State of Qatar's delegation to the meeting.
The meeting discussed several topics on the agenda, most notably criminal investigation into crimes related to digital currencies, securing their evidence, encouraging the use of modern technology in legal and judicial work, and enhancing international cooperation in evidence gathering and prosecuting the accused.
On the sidelines of the meeting, HE the Attorney General met separately with HE Public Prosecutor of the Sultanate of Oman, Nasr bin Khamis Al Sawa'i, and HE the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Lebanon, Judge Jamal Al Hajjar.
During the two meetings, they exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest and discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in the field of modern technology in legal work.
