Trump’s ex-lawyer gets taken into hospital after car accident

(MENAFN) Rudy Giuliani, former attorney for US President Donald Trump, was hospitalized with multiple broken bones after his car was reportedly “struck from behind at high speed” in New Hampshire, his spokesperson said Sunday.

According to Giuliani’s representative, Michael Ragusa, he sustained “fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg,” with the accident occurring Saturday night.

Ragusa added that earlier, Giuliani had stopped to assist a woman who was a domestic violence victim. He “rendered assistance,” called 911, and “remained on scene with her until responding officers arrived to ensure her safety.” How that incident relates to the crash that injured Giuliani remains unclear.

The spokesperson said the former New York mayor is expected to remain in a Manchester-area hospital for two to three more days before using a brace for his broken vertebrae. Giuliani first rose to prominence as a New York prosecutor in the 1980s, later serving two terms as mayor, running for president in 2008, and advising Trump.
