ADFD Hosts A Bazaar For Emirati Women's Day In Collaboration With ZHO
The event, held at ADFD headquarters, was attended by H.E. Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of ADFD, and H.E. Abdulla Al Humaidan, Secretary General of ZHO, along with senior executives and employees from both organizations. It featured a bazaar displaying handmade products by ZHO members, highlighting their craftsmanship and innovative talents. Al Suwaidi emphasized that the event reflects the UAE's deeply rooted values of solidarity and cooperation, while reaffirming ADFD's focus on empowering women and People of Determination as vital contributors to national progress. He added:“This initiative highlights ADFD's role in enabling integration among diverse members of society, creating opportunities to showcase their creativity and contribute to sustainable growth. True development is realized when participation is both inclusive and collective.” Strategic Collaboration to Advance Social Integration: H.E. Al Humaidan expressed his appreciation to ADFD for its continued support of ZHO's initiatives, which have had a significant impact in advancing social integration. He emphasized that the participation of People of Determination in Emirati Women's Day activities reinforces their creative skills and motivates them towards greater achievement. Al Humaidan said:“Our strategic collaboration with ADFD opens new horizons for People of Determination to play an active role across local and global platforms, in alignment with the vision of the UAE's wise leadership and the nation's sustainable development agenda.” Showcasing Emirati Excellence: As part of the event, ADFD hosted Fatma Al Moosawi, the first Emirati and Gulf national to be certified by the International Tea Masters Association in the United States, during which she shared her entrepreneurial journey in founding“Ygnd ElRas,” a pioneering venture producing innovative Emirati-inspired tea blends infused with global flavors. Her story emphasized the role of Emirati women in driving innovation, sustainability, and cultural importance. Supporting Inclusive Enterprises: The event also featured Bee Café & Bakery, UAE's first café and bakery fully operated by People of Determination under ZHO. Through this collaboration, the Fund continues to support inclusive social enterprises that empower People of Determination and demonstrate their capabilities in diverse settings, further strengthening values of inclusion and collective responsibility. Enhancing Employee Wellbeing: To engage employees and their families, the event included a series of interactive activities and exclusive offers designed to foster work-life balance as well as strengthen social bonds.
