I am a pharmacist and Associate Professor in Medical Education at the University of Limerick, Ireland. Currently I work across the faculty of Education & Health Sciences leading teaching in the area of pharmacology and medication safety. My research focuses on social pharmacy, particularly the intersectionality of the healthcare system and over-reliance on certain medications. I am particularly active in mental health research (addiction, intellectual disability, depression, dementia).
