KUWAIT, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah affirmed Thursday that upgrading the Council's service quality and simplifying its procedures is a constant priority, with digital solutions employed to empower beneficiaries.
Al-Huwailah said in a press statement, on the occasion of launching the Council's new website in cooperation with Microsoft, that the step falls within digital-transformation efforts to develop the social-services system and facilitate access for citizens and residents.
She added that the plan includes upgrading digital access channels and simplifying use of counseling and social and legal support services, as well as organizing referral and follow-up pathways among relevant entities to ensure swift response.
She noted that the website provides psychological and social support services, receives reports on cases of violence or neglect that may affect women or children, and offers legal consultations via an interactive platform around the clock.
She affirmed ongoing work to upgrade staff skills to enhance service sustainability and efficiency, adding that the website launch reflects the Council's commitment to innovative solutions that support family stability and protect the rights of all its members. (end)
