Members Of Sri Lankan Organised Crime Syndicate Arrested In Indonesia
Members of a Sri Lankan organised crime syndicate have been arrested in Indonesia, the Sri Lankan Government said on Thursday.
The criminals were identified as Kehelbaddara Padme, Commando Salinda, Backhoe Saman, Panadura Nilanga, and Thembili Lahiru.
The Sri Lankan Government released the photographs of the suspects who were arrested, adding that efforts are underway to have the suspects deported to Sri Lanka.
According to the Sri Lankan authorities, the arrest was made following a joint operation conducted by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and the Indonesian Police.
