Algeria President Sacks PM, Names Industry Minister As Replacement

ALGIERS, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- Algeria's President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Thursday removed Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui from office, appointing Industry Minister Sifi Ghrieb as acting premier, the president's office said in a statement. Larbaoui was appointed prime minister in November of 2003, while his replacement, Ghrieb, has held the post of minister of industry and pharmaceutical production since November of 2004. (end) mr
