Alexios Arvanitis
Alexios Arvanitis, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Crete. His academic formation combines a B.A. and M.B.A. in Business Administration (Athens University of Economics and Business), and a Ph.D. in Psychology (Panteion University), with a dissertation on motivation in negotiation and social exchange. Dr. Arvanitis investigates broad domains of social psychology-social influence, intergroup relations, and motivation-while focusing on moral psychology, negotiation, essentialism, social exchange theory, and self-determination theory. He also pursues interdisciplinary applications in organizational contexts and public policy, integrating empirical research with theoretical and meta-theoretical perspectives.
