Catherine Houlihan is a clinical psychologist and Director of the University of the Sunshine Coast Psychology Clinic. She teaches into the Master of Psychology – Clinical and Professional programs and provides clinical and research supervision to Master's and PhD students.

Catherine completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oxford where she received high-quality training in a range of psychological approaches. Prior to joining academia in 2023 she held several leadership positions in mental health services and worked as a trainer and supervisor for evidence-based psychological therapies. Catherine has particular expertise in leading new and developing therapeutic treatment programs, including being a founding Clinical Director for Australia's first residential eating disorder service,“Wandi Nerida” in QLD.
