Turkish Platform Next Sosyal Surpasses 1M Users
(MENAFN) Next Sosyal, a rising Turkish social media platform, has officially surpassed 1 million users, according to Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the TEKNOFEST Executive Board and head of the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation). Bayraktar shared the milestone in a post on his social media account Saturday.
“Türkiye's most social platform, NSosyal, has surpassed 1 million users.” said Selçuk Bayraktar.
To mark the achievement, Bayraktar announced a user contest running through August 22. Participants who share posts using the hashtag #NSosyalBenim will be entered into a giveaway featuring high-demand tech prizes, including an electric bicycle, PlayStation, GoPro, Monster computer, tablet, mobile phone, smartwatch, and Bluetooth headphones.
Next Sosyal, often stylized as NSosyal, was launched in beta on July 4 and is developed under the leadership of the T3 Foundation. It has rapidly emerged as the top free app in the "social network" category across mobile platforms.
Built with a focus on a clean and safe user environment, the platform highlights its commitment to transparency and digital well-being. Designed for sharing updates in news, technology, lifestyle, and current affairs, Next Sosyal positions itself as an open forum for free expression—free from fake accounts, misinformation, offensive content, and algorithmic manipulation.
Key to the platform’s appeal is its AI-driven architecture. Integrated with T3 AI, a large language model co-developed by Baykar and the T3 Foundation, the platform boosts interaction by providing quick responses to user-tagged posts.
Further strengthening its credibility, tools built by young local developers help detect and flag misinformation in real time, reinforcing the app’s reliability in an era of increasing digital distrust.
Since its beta debut, Next Sosyal’s explosive growth underscores Turkey’s expanding capabilities in homegrown tech solutions and its ambition to carve out space in the global social media market.
