Ministry Of Municipality Organises Guidance Programme On Honeybee Hive Management

DOHA: The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Agricultural Affairs Department and the Agricultural Research Department, organized a guidance program titled“Honeybee Hive Management.”

The event was held in collaboration with Mahaseel, a subsidiary of Hassad Food Company, and the Arab-Qatari Agricultural Production Company (Qatfa), with the participation of 22 engineers and beekeepers.

The training program was delivered by Khalid Saif Al-Suwaidi, a specialist in beekeeping. It covered the fundamentals of beekeeping and hive management, methods for preventing bee diseases and pests, as well as ways to improve honey production and marketing.

At the end of the program, participants presented several suggestions, including the importance of increasing training programs-especially field-based ones-with a focus on practical aspects. Participation certificates were also distributed to attendees.
