Doha, Qatar: Doha Municipality has demolished an abandoned property that was distorting the general appearance of the New Al-Sulata district, in implementation of a decision by the Building Maintenance and Demolition Committee of the Ministry of Municipality.

The municipality's Technical Inspection Department had identified the property during one of its inspection tours, as part of ongoing efforts to preserve the civilized appearance of areas within the jurisdiction of Doha Municipality.

Following the inspection, the violation was referred to the competent committee, which issued a demolition order. The property owner was notified with an official report in order to take the necessary steps to implement the decision.

Doha Municipality continues its efforts through regular inspection campaigns across various areas to ensure compliance with laws-particularly Law No. (29) of 2006 concerning the regulation and monitoring of buildings-in order to maintain public safety and the general appearance of the city.
