Liz Spry The Conversation
Dr Spry is a postdoctoral research fellow at the SEED Lifespan Strategic Research Centre at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. She holds a PhD in Psychology (2020).
Her research aims to understand inequities in children's social and emotional development, and how things like stress, social support, and emotional wellbeing shape family life and relationships over time and across generations. She is Deputy Director of the Victorian Intergenerational Health Cohort Study, which aims to explore how parents' developmental histories and life experience impact the resources they bring to parenting, and how best to promote positive social and health outcomes for parents and children. She is also interested in the role of emerging technologies in shaping the way we communicate and maintain relationships.
