Professor Felicity Deane is a Professor at the Queensland University of Technology. Her PhD entitled, 'The Clean Energy Package and WTO Law: An Analysis of Compliance Issues' was completed in August 2013. Her book 'Emissions Trading and WTO Law: A Global Analysis' was published internationally in March 2015. It has been published in several languages. Felicity has published extensively in areas where economics and the law intersect, in particular regarding emissions trading and other forms of market based mechanisms. She has recently led projects associated with agriculture in Australia including the regulation of sugar cane farming practices in Queensland, and the experiences of farmers with the Environment, Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act. She is the lead author on a monograph on Natural Capital, Agriculture and the Law.
