Ukrainian Intelligence Shares Footage Of Medics Saving Soldiers

"Today, Ukraine marks Medical Workers' Day! Every day, Ukrainian medics fight for the lives of our defenders. Every day - thousands of lives saved, hundreds of stabilized soldiers, dozens of complex field surgeries," the statement reads.

The agency noted that its surgical and resuscitation teams operate on land, in the air, and at sea - often under enemy fire, sometimes in complete darkness, but always with surgical precision.

"We thank all Ukrainian doctors and medical workers for the lives and futures they've saved - of both soldiers and civilians, on the front lines and in peaceful cities. We bow our heads to those who gave their lives in the line of duty," the military intelligence agency said.

Medical Workers' Day is marked annually in Ukraine on July 27, in accordance with a presidential decree issued on June 13, 2023.
