Amir Receives Phone Call From German Chancellor

Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call today from HE Friedrich Merz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

During the call, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international developments.

In this regard, the German Chancellor expressed his thanks to His Highness the Amir for helping the State of Qatar in facilitating the return of a group of Afghans to their country from Germany, praising Qatar's efforts and humanitarian endeavours.
