Tunisia, Oman Forge New Cooperation Deal Across Key Sectors
(MENAFN) Tunisia and Oman have forged a new collaborative agreement aimed at strengthening ties across multiple sectors, according to a state-run news agency on Wednesday.
The declaration came during a press conference in Tunis, attended by Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti and his Omani counterpart, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi.
Nafti emphasized that the visit by the Omani Foreign Minister underscored the determination of both nations’ leaders to deepen their bilateral relations. The meeting also laid the groundwork for an upcoming visit by Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said to Tunisia.
Albusaidi highlighted the shared stance between the two countries on key regional and global issues, particularly their unified support for the Palestinian cause and commitment to upholding international legal resolutions.
The two diplomats also explored ways to enhance cooperation in areas such as security, healthcare, education, renewable energy, food security, trade, justice, and communication technologies.
