Saudi, Iranian Military Top Brass Discuss Regional Situation

RIYADH, June 28 (KUNA) -- Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khaled bin Salman discussed with Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Maj-Gen. Abdolrahim Mousavi the latest developments of the situation in the Middle East.
A phone conversation, initiated by Maj-Gen. Mousavi on Saturday, dealt also with the efforts aiming to maintain security and stability in the region, the Saudi minister wrote on his X account.
Both sides reviewed the bilateral relations particularly in the defense area. (end)
