No Radioactive Leak After US Strikes On Iran's Nuclear Sites, Says IAEA

(MENAFN- Khaama Press) IAEA Reports No Radiation Leak Following US Airstrikes on Iran's Nuclear Sites, Amid Rising Regional Tensions and Global Concern.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced on Sunday, June 22, that it has found no evidence of radioactive leakage following U.S. airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites. According to the agency, U.S. B-2 bombers targeted the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities.

The IAEA stated that it would inform Iranian citizens of any new developments. In a public message, it assured people that there is no immediate radiological threat to nearby communities.

Iran's Atomic Energy Organization also confirmed that there are no signs of radioactivity and that residents near these sites face no safety risks. Iranian officials continue to monitor the situation closely.

However, senior Iranian authorities have warned that the American strikes will have lasting consequences. Tehran stated that the bombings violated international law and damaged regional stability.

The U.S. President Donald Trump described the attacks as a success, claiming that Fordow was destroyed, a claim rejected by Iranian officials. Iranian media maintain that the damage was minimal.

Observers with the International Crisis Group and other diplomatic monitors have warned that these attacks could escalate tensions across the Middle East. They stress that dialogue, not force, is the only viable path to resolving the dispute.

With Iran and the U.S. at a dangerous crossroads, the global community urges restraint. The United Nations and European Union have called for de-escalation to prevent further violence that could impact not only the region but also international security as a whole.
