KRCS: Volunteers To Provide Humanitarian Aid, Services To Kuwaiti Pilgrims

MAKKA, June 3 (KUNA) -- The Secretary-General of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), Fahad Al-Mandil, said on Tuesday that Society's volunteers will provide humanitarian support, emergency services, and volunteer services to Kuwaiti pilgrims during their performance of the Hajj rituals this season, contributing to their comfort and safety.
In a statement to KUNA, Al-Mandil added that the participation of the Society's volunteers, both male and female, in this year's Kuwaiti Hajj mission falls within the framework of the Society's humanitarian and volunteer role in serving pilgrims.
Al-Mandil added that this participation is a continuation of the fruitful cooperation with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Islamic Affairs and relevant official authorities.
He praised the significant and distinguished efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in organizing and managing the Hajj season, appreciating the early preparations, comprehensive equipment, and quality services provided by the Saudi government to all guests from around the world.
He expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of Saudi authorities with official Hajj missions, including the Kuwaiti Hajj mission, stressing that this cooperation played a significant role in facilitating the mission of Kuwaiti medical and volunteer teams participating in serving the pilgrims.
Al-Mandil stated that the Kingdom's high-level logistical, medical, and organizational services reflect the level of care and attention the Saudi leadership devotes to serving pilgrims and embody the Kingdom's long experience in managing large crowds with efficiency and competence. (end)
