
Sogotrade Data Breach Exposes Personal Information: Murphy Law Firm Investigates Legal Claims
On March 18, 2025, SogoTrade, Inc. (“SogoTrade”) identified suspicious activity on its computer network, indicating a data breach. Based on a subsequent forensic investigation, SogoTrade determined that cybercriminals conducted a successful phishing campaign that infiltrated its employee email accounts between May 8, 2024, and May 22, 2024. The investigation further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals potentially accessed and/or stole files containing the sensitive personal information of potentially 48,696 individuals.
The information exposed in the data breach includes, but is not limited to:
