Expansa Ramps Up Resin Regeneration Operations To Meet Surging Gulf Coast Demand
To support its commercial growth, Expansa has promoted Sam Floyd from Director of Business Development – Gulf Coast to Vice President of Commercial Operations . In this expanded role, Sam will lead the buildout of a commercial team focused on the growing deionization (DI) segment and deeper engagement with core industrial sectors across the region.
Recent customer wins include a chemical processing facility in Lake Charles, LA, another in Baton Rouge, LA and a power generation plant in Alabama , all of which selected Expansa for high-purity water services under mission-critical operating conditions.
"There's a real supply gap in this market, and we stepped in with the right infrastructure at the right time," said Sam Floyd, Vice President of Commercial Operations . "We've been working toward this for over three years, and seeing the plant ramp up this quickly is a major validation of our team's effort. Customers are switching to Expansa because they're fed up with long lead times and inconsistent service; this ramp-up is our direct response to those pain points."
To ensure continuity for customers amid tightening market conditions, Expansa is now accepting pre-orders through minimum use agreements for its regeneration services. These structured contracts allow clients to secure service availability through 2026 and beyond.
With a modern plant ramping toward full utilization and a rapidly expanding DI trailer fleet, Expansa is well positioned to deliver consistent, high-quality service to the power, petrochemical, and manufacturing sectors.
