
Public Works Minister, Kazakh Envoy Discuss Trade Ties
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Acting Minister of Public Works has discussed strengthening economic and trade relations with Kazakhstan Ambassador in Kabul about and continued cooperation in infrastructure projects.
In a statement, the Ministry of Public Works wrote Acting Minister Mullah Mohammad Essa Sani met with Kazakh Ambassador Gaziz Akbasov in Kabul.
At this meeting, both sides held comprehensive discussions on the transport of commercial goods to Afghanistan, increasing the transport of commercial goods to other countries through Afghanistan, and investing in infrastructure projects in Afghanistan by Kazakh construction companies, especially in the railway sector.
“Currently, survey and design work is underway for many projects in the railway sector in Afghanistan, and there are opportunities for national and foreign investors to invest in this sector”, the minister added.
According to the statement, both sides emphasized bilateral cooperation in infrastructure projects, in addition to continued economic and trade relations.
