UAE: Free Parking Announced For Eid Al Fitr In Sharjah Exemption Applies To Select Zones

All paid parking in Sharjah will be free during the Eid Al Fitr holida y from Shawwal 1 to 3, the Municipality announced on Friday.

However, this does not apply to the seven-day paid public parking zones, which remain operational throughout the week and official holidays, marked by blue parking information signs.

Similarly, in Ajman, all paid parking will also be free from Shawwal 1 to 3 during the Eid Al Fitr holiday , the Municipality confirmed on March 28.

In Dubai, public parking will be free of charge from Shawwal 1 to 3, except for multi-level parking terminals. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has also announced that paid parking fees will resume on Shawwal 4.

Residents in Dubai can also take advantage of Dubai Metro's extended operating hours during Eid . Both Red and Green Line stations will operate as follows: on Saturday, March 29, from 5am to 1am (next day); on Sunday, March 30, from 8am to 1am (next day); and from Monday to Wednesday, March 31 to April 2, from 5am to 1am (next day).
