Five People Wounded In Kharkiv Region Due To Russian Shelling Over Last Night


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In the Kharkiv region, residential buildings and social infrastructure were damaged and five people were injured in the last day due to attacks by the Russian army.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, Syniehubov said that a residential building was damaged in the village of Klinova-Novoselivka as a result of four FPV drones. A 57-year-old, 54-year-old and 67-year-old woman were injured.

In Borova village of Izium district, a modular medical building, two ambulances and a private house were damaged by a guided aerial bomb hit. A wounded 70-year-old woman was rescued from the damaged house and hospitalized.

“In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, a 72-year-old man was injured as a result of an FPV drone hit. In the village of Heniivka, Chuhuiv district, a private house was damaged as a result of a hit by an unidentified UAV ,” said the head of the military administration.

In the village of Pechenyhy, Chuhuiv district, two UAVs hit the roof of the administrative building of the power distribution company, causing the roof to catch fire over an area of 40 m2. Also, as a result of a UAV hitting the lyceum building, the glazing of windows and doors and the suspended ceiling were damaged.

Syniehubov said that in the Kharkiv sector, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders in the area of Vovchansk four times. In the Kupiansk sector, four attacks took place yesterday. The defenders repelled the enemy's assault in the area of Zahryzove and in the direction of Petropavlivka.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russians shelled Oleksandrivka in Kharkiv region, wounding three civilians.
