(MENAFN) Niels Vink, the world's top-ranked player in the men's quad tennis category from the Netherlands, has commended the international tournament held in Antalya, Turkey, for its pleasant weather, high-quality hotels, excellent food, in addition to well-maintained courts.

Vink, who clinched the gold medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, is currently participating in the BNP Paribas Wheelchair World Team Championship European Qualifiers in Antalya. Speaking to a Turkish news agency, Vink expressed his satisfaction with the tournament and his experience in the area.

"I love the weather, hotels and food in Antalya. I always go in the summer on holiday to Turkiye. Most of the time to Side, so I love it here," Vink shared. "It is a very good tournament in Antalya. It is great that there are so many courts at the Alibey Club and people are doing their best to make a good tournament."

He also shared his belief that Turkish Paralympic tennis players could potentially secure a gold medal at the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
