Russian Scientists Develop System For Augmenting Information Systems Security
Moscow: Scientists from the Russian University of Technology have created a unique system for analyzing authentication and user behavior to identify individuals based on their keyboard usage patterns.
The system aims to enhance access security to organizational information systems, as traditional authentication methods, such as passwords, are often vulnerable.
According to the innovators, the system offers a secure alternative that prevents unauthorized access to information and requires no additional equipment, significantly reducing implementation costs.
In addition, the system analyzes typing speed, dynamics, and errors to create a unique user profile, granting access if it matches the stored template.
It can update profiles automatically and aims to improve accuracy by studying the impact of physical state on typing patterns.
