Kuwait Met. Dep.: Thunderstorms, Scattered Rain Until Sat. Noon
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA))
KUWAIT, March 21 (KUNA) -- Acting Director of the Kuwait Meteorological Department Dherar Al-Ali said on Friday satellite and radar images show there are thunderstorms in the northwest of the country, with the possibility of scattered rain.
Speaking to KUNA, Al-Ali said scattered rains are expected to continue until tomorrow (Saturday) noon, indicating that there will be thunderstorms and heavy rains in some areas.
Rains are associated with dust storms at a speed of 60/km per hour, thus raising sea waves, he noted.
Weather will get better gradually after Saturday noon, as clouds and rains decrease, he revealed.
He urged both citizens and expats to follow up weather bulletin through the Meteorological Department and its official application. (end)
