Rimini (Italy), March 12, 2025 – MIR - Multimedia Integration Expo, an event curated by IEG – Italian Exhibition Group, returns to the IEG Expo Centre in Rimini from March 23 to 25. This edition will highlight the latest technological developments in the audiovisual and entertainment industry. The event is elevated with a new area dedicated to broadcast production, focusing on discovering the most advanced digital solutions for creating and distributing television and digital content. These solutions can redefine the way we interact with multimedia content in various application contexts.

BROADCAST PRODUCTION: INTRODUCING THE NEW HUB FOR AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION
Under the slogan “Connected Content”, the Broadcast Production area will serve as the beating heart of innovation for the entire audiovisual production chain. In this new exhibition space, visitors can explore the latest technologies: cinematic cameras, intelligent PTZ systems, IP infrastructures, cloud-based solutions, and integrated content management systems. All solutions will be showcased through live demos, providing a hands-on, immersive experience. Several leading companies will join the initiative, including Adcom, Aret, Barnfind Technologies, Eurocomm Innovazione, Guido Ammirata, Omnio, Professional Show, Sony, Sky Italia, Trans Audio Video, and Videocine. This is a unique opportunity to delve into the industry's technological evolution and grasp its practical implications in the creation of premium content.

THE INAUGURAL PANEL WITH LUIGI DE SIERVO: THE SERIE A LEAGUE’S BROADCAST STRATEGY
The highlight of the Broadcast Production opening will be the inaugural panel, “The Evolutionary Path of Sports Content. Case study: Lega Calcio Serie A”, scheduled for Sunday, March 23, at 11:30 am in the Tech Arena - Hall 4. The meeting will feature Luigi De Siervo, CEO of Lega Serie A, in an interview with journalist Valeria Ciardiello. The presentation will take a deep dive into the new strategies for producing and distributing sports content in a constantly evolving landscape, characterised by the growing demand for digital use, audience segmentation, and the adoption of increasingly sophisticated technologies. The meeting will provide a comprehensive overview of the central role that technological innovation plays in reimagining the football product and optimising audiovisual monetisation models.

EVENT SCHEDULE: INSIGHTS AND EXPERTISE FROM INDUSTRY LEADERS
The Broadcast Production area will host a series of meetings with experts and professionals from leading media companies, including Mediaset, Sky, Rai, Microsoft, Sony, and some of the most influential production companies. Among the most anticipated events is the talk “Prime Time Productions: Successful Technologies and Strategies”, featuring journalist and TV presenter Valeria Ciardiello, Marco Lucarelli, director of photography, and Mauro Severoni, head of Rai audio projects. Additionally, “Technologies to Support Premium Production Services” will feature Paola Montanari, CEO of Videe, Sergio Cecchini, CEO of NEP Italy, Stefano Teodori, Head of Engineering, Plant Operation, and RAI Maintenance, and Francesco Donato, CTO of Euro Media Group Italy. MIR 2025 will also address “Investments and Infrastructures for the Evolution of Media Companies” with Monia Vanotti, Mediaset's Technology Director, Giuseppe Laurita, Sky's Lead of Production Applications Development, and Marco Di Concetto, RTI - Mediaset Group's Head of TV Production & Broadcast Operations. Lastly, “How Technologies Enable the Transformation of the Audiovisual Supply Chain”, a meeting where Marco Bizzotto, Sony's Solutions Sales Manager, and Andrea Gianolli, ONE-TV's CEO, will explore the evolving content consumption patterns, analysing the impact of new technologies on audience behaviour and demand in real-time.
