Illegal Bird Traps Seized At Al Reem Reserve
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has carried out a surprise inspection campaign in Al-Reem Reserve and seized 12 illegal hunting traps for birds (electronic bird callers). The violators were referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal action against them.
The campaign is part of the ministry's vision and efforts to preserve biodiversity and to combat illegal and unregulated hunting, which threatens the sustainability and diversity of wildlife in natural reserves.
