WASHINGTON, March 19 (KUNA) -- The Deputy ruler of Abdu Dhabi sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al-Nahyan has met with US President Donald trump at the White House.
Trump on remarks on Truth Social platform posted late on Tuesday said he warmly welcomed Sheikh Tahnoun during a banquet, attended by senior US officials.
This meeting mirrors the historic bonds and the solid relations of friendship between our two countries, Trump said, affirming that the two states are partners for establishing peace and security in the Middle East and the world.
The discussions with Sheikh Tahnoun dealt with means of boosting the partnership for promoting the economic future of the UAE and the US, he indicated. (end) amm
