James Lu, MD, Phd Elected To Board Of Directors Of The ACMG Foundation For Genetic And Genomic Medicine

BETHESDA, Md., March 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine (ACMGF) announced today that James Lu, MD, PhD was elected to its board of directors. The ACMG Foundation is a national nonprofit foundation dedicated to facilitating the integration of genetics and genomics into medical practice. The board members are active participants, serving as advocates for the ACMG Foundation and for advancing its policies and programs. Dr. Lu was elected to a two-year term beginning March 1, 2025.

ACMG Foundation President Nancy J. Mendelsohn, MD, FACMG said, "We are grateful and pleased to add James Lu, MD, PhD to the ACMG Foundation Board of Directors. Dr. Lu earned a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and an MD and PhD in Computational Biology from Baylor College of Medicine.
