Qatari PM, UN Official Deliberate Latest Developments In Gaza Strip


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, March 17 (KUNA) -- Qatari Prime Minister, sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani deliberated latest developments in Gaza strip along with United Nations Undersecretary and Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, on Monday.
A statement by the Qatari Foreign Ministry reported that the meeting, taking place while Kaag is on visit to Qatari capital of Doha, delved into the bilateral relations between the UN and Qatar.
The meeting focused on the latest developments in Gaza Strip, namely challenges facing humanitarian work and ways the two could cooperate and ensure sustainable delivery of aid.
The Qatari Premier asserted that the international community should take responsibility toward addressing the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza and firmly stand against the policy of starvation adopted by the occupation. (end)
