German coalition talks on forming new government officially start
(MENAFN) Shared meetings between the Christian Union groups (CDU/CSU) with the Social Democratic Party (SPD) to shape a fresh administration in Germany have formally started, based on regional media.
Deputations from the Christian Democratic Union Party (CDU), and the Christian Social Union Party (CSU), as well as the SPD gathered in Berlin on Thursday, as reported by a German news agency.
The running parties, with each one including 16 participants, have until March 24 to initiate an alliance deal.
Also, vital discussions between the groups are possible, regarding migration, budget, tax, as well as military matters.
The CDU/CSU along with SPD heads have apparently enforced firm regulations on the participants of the running parties in order to avoid leaks during the discussions.
The concluding documents of the running parties will be submitted to the group heads.
