India Rejects Pakistan's Allegation Regarding Jaffer Express Train Attack

(MENAFN- Khaama Press) The spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal, has rejected Pakistan's allegation regarding New Delhi's involvement in the attack and hostage-taking of passengers on the Jaffer Express train in Balochistan, calling it“baseless.”

Indian media, citing Jaiswal, reported that he emphasized,“The whole world knows where the main center of terrorism is.” He further added that instead of accusing others, Pakistan should address its internal challenges and failures.

India has rejected this claim while Pakistani authorities have held India responsible for the attack on the Jaffer Express train in Balochistan. The attack, which occurred on March 10, 2025, in the Bolan region, led to the train's stoppage, the hostage-taking of 200 passengers, and the deaths of at least 25 people, including 4 security personnel. After two days of clashes, Pakistani security forces neutralized all the attackers.

These statements come at a time when India and Pakistan's relations have always been influenced by political and security tensions. Pakistan has previously accused India of being involved in attacks and internal unrest, but New Delhi has consistently rejected such claims and, in return, accused Pakistan of harboring terrorist groups.

The ongoing disputes between the two countries, especially over Kashmir and regional security issues, persist. The mutual accusations remain a consistent feature in the tense and fraught relationship between the two nations.

The constant accusations and counterclaims between India and Pakistan highlight the fragile state of their diplomatic relations. Both countries have failed to find common ground on key issues, and this lack of cooperation continues to hinder any meaningful progress toward peace.
